FIND OUT WHICH HUMLESS UNIT IS RIGHT FOR YOUR POWER NEEDS

In order to decide which Humless unit is right for you, you need to know what you want to use it for. Do you want portable power, back up power in-case of emergencies, or do you want to take your entire home off-the-grid? Once you make that decision, follow the steps below to see how many things you can power at once with your chosen unit. Then, you can also calculate how long each generator would run for before it needs to re-charged.

STEP 2

Running Watt Needs

STEP 3

Starting Watts

STEP 4

Peak Watts Required

From the sections below, select which items you wish to power with your Humless generator.

Add up all the running watts for the items you wish to power.

Find the item with the highest number of starting watts.

Add the total running watts used and the highest starting watts together to find the peak output power.

Find the items you want to power on in the tabs below. If you want to use more than one item at the same time, add up their running watt requirements together. If the toal is less than 1500 watts, the GO Mini or GO Plus will work for you. If you need to powr more things at once, take a look at the HOME Series units.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How many Watts does it take to power basic items in an average size house?
In a typical home, essential items will average between 1000 - 5000 Watts of power each hour.

Why is only one additional starting watt item used to calculate the peak output power requirement?

Unlike running watts, starting watts are only needed during the first few seconds of operation. In most cases, only one item will start or cycle at the same time; therefore this is the most accurate estimate.
What is the difference between running watts and starting watts?
Running watts are the continuous watts needed to keep items running. Starting watts are extra watts needed or two to three seconds to start motor-driven products like a refrigerator, a saw, or devices that have a power supply.
What if I can't find the stating watt requirement for a tool or appliance?
Most motor-driven an devices with a power supply will have an additional starting watt requirement. Estimate starting watts at 2X the running watts
